Yes, that is my refrigerator door just in case you were wondering. It may look like a weird or unusual place to store nail polish, but here's a beauty secret: Storing nail polish in the refrigerator keeps it from becoming lumpy. Nail polish can become damaged when it sits in a warm environment. But when you store it in a cool place like the fridge, polish stays smooth forever just like when you first bought it. I have a few more bottles on the other shelf, but I wanted to snap this pic to show you where and how I store mine. I put them on the bottom shelf so that they sit comfortably and don't get in the way of what the fridge is traditionally used for. I've been doing this since I was about 14 years old, so please feel comfortable taking my word on this one. It stood the test of time.

African Flavor Hits Brooklyn Fashion Weekend!
People say that fashion is dead. I wonder who told that lie. Last night I was invited by Christian Ruart to a private fashion presentation. These are my absolute favorite pieces from the one and only Lea Mono Haute Couture fashion house. Albertine Odimba Bongo is the daughter of Dabani Odimba Bongo, the first lady of Gabon. She is specialized in fashion design internationally with a remarkable resume of gown design for Queens and Princesses in Africa and Arabic Countries such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Senegal, Ivory Coast, New York, Italy, Asia, Qatar, Jordan, Lebanon, and of course Gabon.

Cognac Handbags: Why You Should Own One
People often say that black goes with everything. You may be surprised to find out that cognac is just as versatile as black. Some folks (such as myself) say that it's better. Because sometimes black can be too harsh. Especially with pastels. They say that every woman should at least own one. I'm guilty. I probably have more handbags than the average woman and none of them are tan.

Don't Forget Your Shades
When you have to make an early morning run throw on a fabulous pair of sunglasses. Why? In the past you've probably woken up one morning and decided to make a bowl of cereal. You might've poured all of the cereal into the biggest bowl, and grabbed a huge spoon just to tip the carton and realize that you were out of milk. So now you have to make that unexpected morning trip to the store. This happens to a lot of us.

Your Nudes Ain't Like Mine
Skin is such a wonderful thing. And the most fascinating part is that we all come in different shades of it. The term nude as an adjective is defined as naked or unclothed in most dictionaries. However, in the fashion world when we say, "nude" {sometimes} we mean it in the sense of your skin color. There is a really good chance that your nude is not my nude. Why? Because the color NUDE, unlike the guilt in most adhesive bandage colors, is not one-size-fits-all. The color nude can be any hue of human skin. This picture demonstrates that very fact. We come in all different flavors....
